On
Friday, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board released their monthly
report for total revenue generated from the play of slot machines at
casinos during October.
According
to the report, October's gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 casinos was $186,255,556, a 1.7 percent decrease in revenue when
compared to the $189,527,493 generated in October 2017. Tax revenue from the play of slots machines in October of this year was $97,115,033.
The
average number of slot machines operating on a daily basis was 25,407
during October compared to 25,941 at the casinos in October
2017.
Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin experienced the biggest drop in October down
17.99 percent.
