Video: Emirates modifies 10 Boeing 777-300ER passenger aircraft for additional cargo capacity

Emirates has modified 10 Boeing 777-300ER passenger aircraft to create additional cargo capacity by removing seats from the Economy Class cabin. This will allow for up to 17 tons or 132 cubic meters of additional cargo capacity per flight on top of the 40-50 ton cargo capacity in the belly hold.

The modified Boeing 777 aircraft are being deployed on routes to key production and consumer markets where Emirates SkyCargo sees maximum demand for the movement of urgently required goods such as Personal Protective Equipment, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, food, machinery and other supplies around the world.
